I started this gymnastics empowerment Bootcamp for this girl (me at age 5). I bravely announced my dream of going to the Olympics not knowing how hard it was going to be. In fact, I got a 4.0 on my first meet ever on beam- child prodigy right? 😬 It’s a sport that is intense at a young age. If you’re a gymnast, you know there’s injuries, fears, doubts, & other obstacles along the way... and for what?... Oh yeah, we all love this crazy & beautifully insane sport. • Even though we dedicate so much time & energy to the most difficult sport in the world, we do it to achieve our dreams. Whether it’s competing in college, going to the Olympics, or just getting a new skill, nothing can replace that feeling of accomplishing a goal & nothing can replace the life lessons you learn along the way. Without gymnastics, this little girl wouldn’t be as strong, driven, & fierce as she is today. Since I know how hard this sport can be, I want to give these current gymnasts the tools to make it a little easier. I want to bring them joy to make it a little more fun & I want to give them more opportunities to learn life lessons... bc at the end of the day, isn’t this what it’s all about?! 💕」5月17日 0時36分
