The Earl of Wessex arrives in Slovenia 👋🇸🇮 His Royal Highness is undertaking a series of engagements celebrating the UK’s relationship and strong cultural links with the country #RoyalVisitSlovenia
In recognition of this enduring partnership, His Royal Highness and the President of the Republic of Slovenia, @borutpahor, marked the first ‘UK-Slovenia Friendship Day’. The first #SloUKFriendshipDay was held in White Carniola. It was here in 1945 that local Slovenians helped British RAF airman after their bomber was shot down during WWII.
Later this week His Royal Highness will also visit North Macedonia and Croatia.
