Drop a ❤️ in the comments  _ I had a mental breakdown when I was in my 20’s it was so bad I should have been admitted. My parents had passed a few months apart. My dad took his own life and I felt so detached from the world. It was like all the strings holding me to the earth got cut. The feeling of losing both parents is like nothing you’ve ever experienced. I gave my kids to relatives I wasn’t in a mental place to take care of anyone. I made these decisions while I was still in shock. _ A lot of people didn’t show up when my dad passed and that really affected me. I was experiencing so much abandonment by my dads decision and really not having support. I don’t remember a lot of that short time I just remember TRYING to hold it together. Everything from my childhood all the emotions I buried hit me.  _ Once alone I fell completely apart I was locked in a room sitting in a corner. I was there for days, I collapsed in that place and didn’t move much. I cried so much my body stop producing tears. There was no thoughts, no sounds, no feel, I lost complete control. I cried, I yelled, I just stared into nothing till I passed out. I remember my boyfriend at the time sitting across from me I would see his mouth moving but I wasn’t hearing anything. I honestly don’t remember how I got up and out of it. I just know I had to pull it together. _ Those dark moments you guys I’ve been there. I’ve found we have to feel things that make us sad, we have to mourn. We have to ask for support. There is no shame in not being okay. You are loved, you do matter, we are not unbreakable. Biggest piece of advice no matter what’s happened don’t shut God out. If your struggling find him and talk to him because he loves you the most. ❤️ _ Give yourself the right nutrition because food affects your moods.
