I actually received my trademark/copyright 4 years ago today in the mail (I didn’t apply for them until I realized I had something, and saved up the money after initial sales.) I honestly had no idea my intentions or where to even begin with running a business. I went to school for Physical Education/Recreation Management. I wanted to be a gym teacher & baseball coach. Running a business and the risks associated with it while raising kids, yuck! Fast forward 4 years and a few moths to today, I look back at everyone who has supported, helped this brand and even those who doubted it along the way and I’m humbled. I just received this message/photo from @ashleylynnlong of her friend @kk_holiday12 - telling me he was a huge fan of Filthy Anglers and it would make his day if we posted this. So why not? We do our best here to showcase you, not models/staged photos. You are our biggest assets. I have always said this brand is nothing without you, and promised to be real in all we do. When companies get big, they sometimes forget how and why they got to where they are. That’s not us. Never lose sight of what’s important and those who helped you succeed.
