For its 70th anniversary, Italian furniture brand @kartell_official decided not to follow a traditional celebratory path, and instead created ‘The Art Side of Kartell,’ an exhibition inside Appartamento dei Principi in the baroque Palazzo Reale. Curated by Ferruccio Laviani and Rita Selvaggio, the show offers 11 art-inspired interpretations of the historic brand, including immersive and experimental elements. Described as ‘yesterday’s vision of the future’, a sequence of mise-en-scène featuring creative interpretations of Kartell’s design icons animate the lavishly decorated 17th-century halls.
