I’ve failed a lot. I’ve tried a bunch of things that didn’t work out, but moments like this remind me that that’s ok, keep pushing. I guess you’d expect a different caption, but this moment couldn’t exist without 10 years of failing frequently, taking huge risks, learning from every little thing that went wrong, and getting better over time vs improving overnight (like we all hope to)

For some reason people don’t talk about their mistakes here; we hype ourselves, but rarely share ourselves and tell the stories that ground these unfathomable images in reality.

So I post this as a reminder to myself that failures can be the most powerful lessons, and to say thank you, to all of you who have made life changing experiences like this possible 🙏🏻
