The week’s #RoleModelMonday is 29-year-old scientist Dr. Katie Bouman! Dr. Katie led a computer program to create the first-ever image of a black hole… so unbelievable! She started creating the algorithm that made this all possible about three years ago while she was a graduate student at MIT. Bouman stands out as a role model for women and girls aspiring to work jobs in male-dominated science fields. Women and girls remain underrepresented in the science, technology, engineering, and math fields, but the crucial and groundbreaking contributions of women like Katie  prove that there are no gender-based limits to what one can achieve!
