Photo by @KristaRossow | Mono Lake in California is famous for its unique limestone formations called tufa. I was able to visit Mono Lake last summer while leading a high school photo workshop to Yosemite and the Eastern Sierra with @NatGeoExpeditions. We photographed the tufa at sunset and were so blown away by these bizarre, beautiful creations that we returned at sunrise to do it again.
