This morning we were talking about jobs I had when I was teenager on the way to school. I told Mazzy that my first after school job was at a clothing store, which was cool because I got a discount on the clothes. She said, “Yeah and then you got fired!” I don’t remember when I told her that, but I must have because it’s true. “Why did they fire you?” She asked. “Well, I can’t really say for sure because they didn’t give me a reason. But I think it was because one of the managers asked me on a date and I said no.” “What?! They can do that???” “No. Legally they can’t. I just didn’t know that back then. It was a long time ago. I don’t think he would be able to get away with that if it happened today.” Mazzy thought about that for a second. “I bet you have a lot cooler job than him now, Mommy.” Ha. I bet that’s true!!! 💪🏻
