Ok parents. 3hr time change seems to be kicking our ass’. 4:30am MT wake up, calls for very large coffee(s). But seriously, help... what works for you guys? What’s smoothest way to transition a baby? I can’t drink anymore coffee ☕️ #sleep #timechange #babies #sleepfighter #girlmom #coffee #bigcoffee #iwillnap #yabish

No one specific way worked with my kids ... trial and error I’m afraid... but fresh air and gradually pushing them to their new sleep time helped a lot ... but they are so individual .. each time was different... and it changed with age too!!! Just know - what you are doing is right for you and everyone feels how hard it is!

Try transitioning one hour every day and keep the evening routine as close to the home routine as possible. During the day get her outside into the sun so her body starts adjusting. Good luck! We used to live in the Middle East and the 9hr time change to the USA was rough!

Don’t let her fall asleep until her new bed time. We found that being out with lots of stuff for her to look at during nap time helps to push the nap time and bed time to what you need. It took about 4 days though.

Time changes are tough no matter what!! You could try adjusting her schedule by 15 or 20 minutes each day if you’re going to be there for a while, otherwise I always found it best to stay on “home” time zone.
