Within the cinematic composition is a squad of eight horses, each with their own distinct rider. They are on their way to the next battle, after having survived their last encounter with the enemy. The lines and washes, rendered in phthalo blue, are reminiscent of the glazes on Korean and Chinese porcelain. The transparency of the lines and exposed canvas is one of elegant fragility, but the sweeping lines incapsulate an energy of implied momentum and violence.」4月5日 14時24分
