Jean Hugues de Chatillon (a great friend and amazing set designer) and I have recreated every season here. We have made it rain in summer, and even snow, which is beautiful as it falls but less so when you have to vacuum it up. We transformed the studio into a theater of Chinese shadow puppetry, the terrace of the Pont des Arts. Then there are the memories that have nothing to do with fashion, like when tenor Alfredo Kraus literally made the windows tremble with his voice, or the oracle of the Dalai Lama who held a spontaneous ceremony where we were all on our knees while he blessed us.
