Light up your own life, no one else can do it for you. It’s hard to admit but it’s much easier for me to let my light go dark than to work at keeping it burning. It’s something I’m working on and I’m getting better at it every day. How do you keep your own light burning and shining bright?

I am the same way , it’s easier to go dark but then I remind myself how short life is and not to waste it. Life reminded on its own recently when I had to have emergency spinal surgery and couldn’t move , now I don’t want to squander another minute ! And your blog makes my day brighter, I’ve been reading it since the early grassroots days of popcultureafternoon 🌞

Spending 1:1 time with people close to me, and spending time doing creative activities helps recharge me. Brainless but hands on is the perfect way to get out of my head on bad days ❤️
