I was running 6 weeks post op, which is unheard of. And now at 2 months? I’m lifting weights, doing burpees and smashing out plank PBs 💦 Now I’m NOT saying that a healthy lifestyle cures all, but it certainly does help you bounce back from adversity 👏🏼 Honestly, you can’t control what challenges life gives you - my twisted bowel came out of the blue with no history of gut issues 💩 But you CAN control your lifestyle. You can make your body stronger and healthier. You can feed it nourishing food, challenge it through movement and optimise it’s functioning through sleep and stress reduction. You can make it more resilient so if life throws you a curveball, you can come back fighting 💪🏼 So I want you to ask yourself - what can I do to take care of my body next week?
