I often think about the life my images have once they leave me. Where people see them and I enjoy that they become part of the public vernacular. That they become part of people’s lives in even a peripheral way. People don’t chose to see a billboard, it’s just appears , delivers its messages and then goes days or weeks later . I once saw a news picture of a convicted murderer and in the background of the picture , pinned on his wall , was one of my images . You can’t control how your images live after they leave you or even what they will mean to anyone.
