mharrin1 Airbnb is homophobic. I was attacked in my own home, also an Airbnb, by a straight, white male — all because he didn’t realize I (the owner) was a lesbian. I had to call 9-11, where the police had to physically escort the man from my home. I called Airbnb the next day to tell them what had happened. They responded by deactivating my account. I have been a super host for 3 years. I called numerous times and they said they couldn’t tell me why my account was deactivated, even though I had sent them the police report. Airbnb is homophobic — please do not use them. My life was threatened and Airbnb blamed me by deactivating my account with no warning or explanation. Do not use this crooked company!
