After a roof fire (most of the damage came from putting it out) the homeowners decided to move forward with reinventing their 440-square-foot alcove studio. They worked with their Sweeten general contractor to decide which spaces need a gut job (like the bathroom) and which could just use a refresh (the kitchen). Their designer @tc_interiordesign helped them develop a color scheme, inspired by a rug from Kazakhstan: bold blacks and whites, mixed with gray-beige, and pops of coral and navy.
