Oh hey. 👋🏻Not sure why I’m awkwardly holding my belly. I guess I’m still getting used to high waisted jeans? Ya.🤔 Anyway- who’s going thru toddler sleep regression? Night waking? Whatever they call it??? Anyone? It’s hard. It’s just hard. Last night at 430am, after trying to console Lennox for almost an hour, I found a wrench and took the front off of Lennox’s crib. I was desperate. He wants a bigger bed... So, desperate times call for desperate measures.💪🏻 His crib turns into a toddler bed- just being a dramatic. I’ll spare y’all the details. It’s continued on the blog. .
Not sure if this is interesting to anyone? 🤷🏼♀️ Unless your child is also screaming for you multiple times a night?👍🏻 Happy Friday! Couldn’t have come sooner... xo

When my son was 2.5 he went through something like this - would just randomly wake up and be inconsolable - it was the weirdest thing! At the time, he was still in a crib and we were living in my in-laws basement while we were finishing building our new house and as soon as we got in the place we threw a full size mattress on the floor and he loved it!! And he's never had one of those random nights since?? I'm not sure if that's what did it, but it's worth a shot!! Just know, you are not alone mama!! Hugs to all of you! ❤️

I actually still have a huge pillow from a papasan that I keep in my daughters room (almost 3yrs old) when she wakes up like this and won’t go right back down I just lay on it until she is back out. So she isn’t leaving her own bed and getting into the habit of being in mine. I am also comfy and can get a little sleep while waiting for her to settle. She has been out of a crib since 20months old.

Oh yes. My son is now 20 months old. He's been in a toddler bed s few months now because he started to climb out of the crib! He spends most of the night in my bed with me and hubby choses to sleep on the sofa! Just remember it doesn't list forever and what ever you need to do to get him and yourself to sleep is perfectly ok

My six year old has only just gotten the hang of sleep. I feel you babe , broken sleep is torture especially when they’re well past the newborn / infant stage and still waking. Thankfully my two year old is a good sleeper. 😬

I'm going through 9 month old sleep regression with my son. It feels rougher than the newborn stage bc he was sleeping for months all night! Then my 4 yr old started getting up too...its no joke😫😫

Ps. He’s at the age where bad dreams and night terrors night occur. Maybe let him sleep with a flashlight. Show him how he can look around the room and see that everything is ok.
