There is something so empowering about being confident in yourself and the financial choices you make. Did you know @blackrock’s Investor Pulse Survey showed that less than half of U.S. women (46%) feel confident they’ll have the income they need in retirement? I realize how important it is to feel financially stable on a long-term basis when I think of my senior years and how that might affect my children. When I started investing in a retirement plan (a simple 401K through my employer years ago), I was incredibly nervous. But the more I researched and became financially aware, the more confident I felt in the future I am building for myself. #investorpulse #ad

cathycmcdermott Yes!!! So so important!! My husband passed away when my kids were young (8 and 11)....thankfully we had saved and have a job that supports us well. That’s unusual...and so many kids aren’t being raised to be financially literate. Your message is Important for every phase of life ❤️❤️
