Heading back home to Hollywoodland...how crazy is it to think that this sign, one that’s come to symbolize the hopes and dreams of so many around the world was originally put up to try and convince people heading west to buy real estate in a relatively undiscovered valley? It’s also wild to think that at the time this photo was taken in 1923 our house was already 10 years old! Try to visualize the LA of today having only dirt roads and sprawling acres of orange orchards...I mean It wasn’t that long ago! Just a little nostalgia for your Thursday!
