Today Her Majesty The Queen hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the 50th anniversary of the Investiture of The Prince of Wales.
The reception was attended by The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, and other members of the Royal Family.
Prince Charles was created The Prince of Wales aged 9 on July 26th 1958. HRH was formally invested with the title by Her Majesty on July 1st 1969.
Guests at the reception included representatives from The Prince’s charities and Patronages in Wales.
