The Prince of Wales presided over an #Investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace today, recognising the outstanding achievements of people from across the UK.

Constable Jessica Bullough was presented with The Queen’s Police Medal. Jessica was one of the first responders after the Manchester Arena attack and administered first aid to seriously injured victims and continued to give support and comfort to victims overnight.

Melissa Mead received an #MBE for her work raising awareness of sepsis.
Since Melissa’s son, William, passed away from the disease in 2014, she has been working as an Ambassador for @uksepsistrust.

Wing Commander Kevin Gatland from The @royalairforceuk received an #OBE. Kevin was the Project Officer for the #RAF100 flypast last July in celebration of the Centenary of the RAF.
