In Ottawa you can skate for almost 8 km straight (and even stop for a hot chocolate or coffee).” Ottawa's Rideau Canal Skateway is 7.8km (4.8 miles) in length, making it the largest naturally frozen outdoor skating rink in the world and Ontario’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site! When the skateway is open, it’s free and accessible 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, with lamps lighting the Skateway from above at nighttime. The canal’s season will be winding down soon, so be sure to check the status before making a trip. ⛸ #ExploreCanada

À Ottawa, vous pouvez patiner sur près de 8 kilomètres sans arrêt (et même vous arrêter pour un chocolat chaud ou un café). » La patinoire du canal Rideau s’étend sur 7,8 km, ce qui en fait la plus grande patinoire extérieure naturelle au monde et le seul site du patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO en Ontario. Pendant l’hiver, selon les conditions météo, la patinoire est ouverte 7 jours sur 7, 24 heures sur 24 (des lampadaires l’éclairent en soirée).
