I’m an esoteric. I do palm readings and read tarot cards for friends, family, and random people at the pub when I’m drunk. I started watching tutorials on Youtube and learned how to do it. There’s three main lines. The bottom one is for your love life, the middle one is your head and mental life, and the top one is your emotions. You look at how the lines curve, if they’re broken, the patterns they create. The important thing is, you really need to feel the person.

I recently payed £600 to see a tarot reader in New York called Big Mama. She’s absolutely amazing. She was right on the money. It was really, really worth it. I went back the next day to do a second reading. The answers you get can obviously be a bit generic, but to me it’s a means of opening up and being introspective. It’s a chance to stop and pause and ask yourself the big questions. To quiz and challenge yourself. It really stimulates dialogue.
