I’m not crying, you’re crying ??@johnluke_robertson and @marykaterob are home! We spent a couple of sweet days packing up and saying goodbye to friends in Lynchburg and a couple more days driving to Louisiana with 2 cars, 2 dogs and a uhaul! We might look a little teary in these pics, but they aren’t sad tears (well maybe just a little, this was their first home!!) these are tears of gratefulness! We have been thanking God continuously for this house and all of the memories it contains.
I have loved face-timing over the last few years and hearing of the friendships formed, the epic parties, the bible studies, the late night talks, the books read, fires put out ?lessons learned, movies watched, and the latest house guest conversations. These two have had friends live in their basement, thrown wedding showers, held big surprise birthday parties, and have even had people get engaged in their backyard!
Nothing better as a mom than seeing your kids use the gifts God gives them with grateful hearts and generous spirits. On to the next adventure John Luke and Mary kate. While I have loved our FaceTimes, it is even better to have you face to face!
