In the spring, I love seeing the blooming tulips and daffodils I have planted underneath the trees in my garden. It may not be Spring in East Hampton yet but this flower arrangement reminds me of the garden – tall flowering peach branches with big purple tulips underneath. And here’s a pro tip: don’t use too much water in the vase with tulips or they’ll grow too fast and flop over!

astowick If you gently pierce thru stem with a pin about 1” from bulb of cut tulips, they will stay standing straight for a over a week. Try it!
