I mean, once you’ve met your deductible... ??♀️?
.
I fractured my collarbone in 2nd grade and it was the worst because I didn’t get a cast. Just a crummy sling and so nobody could sign my sling or even believe that I broke anything. They didn’t believe the paper clip I wore on my teeth was a real retainer, either. But I DID break my collarbone. Ugh. #unfair #kidsaretheworst photo credit unknown

🤣🤦🏼♀️ I tried the paper clip retainer and decided it didn’t taste nice or stay in place very well, so I would use jelly bracelets. I’d “fold” one in half so it would cover my top AND bottom teeth AND stayed in place better/longer. I would use the metallic silver bracelet, black bracelet or any colored one because 🤷🏼♀️why not? Ahhh the 80’s. What a time to be a kid!! 🤗

I broke my tail bone....that was a real pain in the ass 😂😂😂. Not only did I not get a cast....I got to carry around what looked like an inflatable toilet seat to keep pressure off of it when seated. It hurt to move my foot....since it’s all connected. I’ve never broken a collar bone....but I’d take a sling over a toilet seat!

I also broke my collarbone in 2nd grade and was so mad about the lack of a cast. I actually first had a partial fracture and then about a week later I snapped it in half and the ends overlapped. That was gross and painful. It took years for the bump to go away.

My 16yr old son had his collar bone fractured on both sides!!literally a year apart! He cried like a baby! I didnt think of as that bad But the Dr did explain that a hairline fracture is so painful sometimes even more than a reg.fracture!

I fractured my kneecap. So I’m on crutches, had surgery, and go to physical therapy 3x a week, but no cast. (not even an ace-bandage!) So I basically look like I’m just too lazy to walk on both feet. Worst injury ever.

During birth my son was stuck so they had to break his collarbone in order to fold him and pull him out. Rough entrance. 😑 We basically had to straight jacket him to keep his arm close to his body. He's good now!
