At @cocorochamodelcamp one of the things we discuss at length is how, as a model, your image IS your brand. It’s the DNA of your business. In my opinion, there should always be consent when someones image is being used commercially. The law right now is that in a public place, no model has an expectation of privacy and thus her image may be taken, and sold, without her permission. But what if your T-shirt explicitly says ”No Model Release. No Image Rights?” would that be legally binding if captured in the same image? Right now the status quo does not feel right and I think further discussion needs to be had. Also, I made these t-shirts to bring with me to Paris fashion week tomorrow - so any girl walking in Paris shows who wants one, hit me up!
