Going through all my old Karl posts and I just realized that my first ever Instagram post - blurry, over-filtered and taken 8 years ago - was in Karl’s amazing personal library and studio in Paris. I spent so many nights in this place. Karl always liked to design at Chanel during the day and then shoot all night in his studio. I don’t know when he slept, he was the hardest working man in fashion and he kept up that pace for more than half a century. Truly a legend. #KarlLagerfeld
