A wonderful evening at @albertoslounge: kicked off with octopus and chickpeas, then this brace of perfectly cooked pasta (on the left, spaghetti with sardines, fennel, currants and pine nuts; on the right, rigatoni with guanciale, tomato and basil), followed by an incredibly good bistecca - a T-bone steak with such depth and texture- then cannoli. Sorry about poor light. What can ya do? Wonderful food, and thank you @christinemanfieldchef for the recommendation. Music exhaustingly loud for me, but then I’m old! And special thanks to Gaston. A lovely night
