In 2014 I took one of my most favorite road trips up the west coast. I brought my Rolleiflex along and shot a roll with it. When I got home I pretty much immediately got on a plane and headed off to Berlin for my very first time. I didn’t get my film developed until I was in Germany and came to find out that my camera broke at some point, and everything was coming out back-focused. Everything except for this shot, and maybe a handful of other frames. Five years later, that camera still hasn’t been fixed. It breaks my heart a little, maybe after tax season I’ll put some funds towards repairing it. I’m not even sure if this is properly in focus, so don’t look too hard. #thedadvanclan
