Yes, I’m an IVF warrior. Our sweet Batelli was conceived through modern medicine. Truth be told, IVF is one of the hardest things I’ve endured. So much emotion, stress, fear, pressure, pain and anxiety. The hormones wreak havoc on your body for months prior to transfer and the fear of the unknown is encompassing. I was 43 when we began our IVF for Batel. I felt I had little time. I felt it may be my last chance. I knew what I was getting into since I had a successful twin IVF pregnancy. But I was MUCH younger then. Well, after everything we ended up with one very special PGD tested, perfect embryo... my little Batelli. She was worth every shot, every cry and every push. I felt compelled to talk about my age, IVF and how you can do this too. Never lose hope. Always trust in G-d. meghanduffy76 I am an IVF warrior as well, except that mine were unsuccessful. After 8 rounds of unsuccessful IVF, my then husband and I decided on egg donation. Unfortunately while I was looking for a donor who was similar to me, my now ex was sleeping with a girl that he met at a bar and he got her pregnant. The IVF was so physically, emotionally and mentally draining and then to have my partner do what he did absolutely broke me. He is in hell now with that homewrecker and I am blessed to be a wonderful aunt with a even better boyfriend. KARMA!!!

megm_king @jennacantlowhat difficulties did you face that you needed IVF? I have PCOS and I'm overweight w hypothyroid because of it. May I ask were you at a healthy weight when you conceived your twins or was it just a natural struggle? I'm about 100 lbs overweight and I'm inspired by your weight loss post Batel. How long did it take you to see results and do you also have a work out regimen or strictly keto?

nickygrove I did 14 rounds of IVF and fertility drugs which ended in 1 late miscarriage. I gained 20lbs with IVF and another 30 since the miscarriage. Your story is inspirational! I have been hesitant to try keto mainly because I felt it was very restricted, but I think I'm going to try it and see how I go. Thank you for sharing your before and after photos/feelings.
