This is the Chemical Traffic Light. This week on #ScienceSunday we’re taking a look at how indigo carmine reacts to pH levels as well as oxidation & reduction. Full video is on my IGTV ☺️ (also yes this isn’t new but unfortunately the experiment for this week called for 0.01M NaOH & Sulfuric Acid but I have 1M of those solutions and didn’t have a big enough container to dilute it with 6L of distilled water. Yes I could have diluted it a different way but I wanted to make sure it’s accurate so it’s moved to this coming week!)
