Crab shell under ice. I expected that every day in Maine in the winter would be somewhat dreary, very cold, and relatively monotone, and I was okay with that. But that hasn’t been the case at all, and I have been pleasantly surprised by the variety of weather conditions and color palettes I have found here so far. All this talk of Maine in the winter being horrible is starting to sound like fake news to me...
