Before the mountains and canyons, the land of #Dinosaur National Monument was dominated by wide rivers and lush savannah. 149 million years ago, dinosaurs roamed the area that would become Colorado and #Utah. Though the environment they thrived in is gone, the evidence of these gigantic creatures can be found in the stones and sediment of this wonderful park.
