Yesterday, The Duchess of Cornwall visited community groups and volunteers on a day of engagements in South London.
First, Her Royal Highness visited groups at St John's Angell Town Church in Brixton where she met people to find out about the work they do to promote peace in the community.
The Duchess then officially opened a new library at the St John's Angell Town Church School, as part of her work in promoting the benefits of reading to children and adults.
Next, HRH visited the Lambeth GP Food Co-op which is a community-led health scheme, which encourages residents to grow their own food as a method of "social prescription". It gives people a means to improve their own health and wellbeing.
