Love the diversity of paddling in Africa. It’s amazing to drop into a village in the middle of nowhere with a car loaded with boats looking for a put-in. Gearing up surrounded by hundreds of fascinated locals who are your best buddies for a minute, before we part ways and head off downstream knowing we will most likely never see these awesome people again.
Angola is one of the most diverse countries on the planet. From extreme wealth in the capital Luanda through to subsistence living in the rural parts of the country.
