February is Black History Month and Black History is American History! "If a race has no history it has no worthwhile tradition, it becomes a negligible factor in the world, and it stands in danger of being exterminated". For years, black people have been subjugated, killed for no reason, treated as 1/3 human, refused equality for no reason other than skin color! During black history month we shine light on the significant impact black people have had on the world for hundreds of years! There have been inventors, athletes, musicians, scholars, actors, activists and the list goes on. This month is the time we teach the history of black people so you all know that America was, is and always will be a shared nation of immigrants! We must stop the systematic ideas of racism and bigotry that occur in America and around the world. We are all the same people! #BHM #readingisfundamental @naacp #aahm
