Day 1 yesterday in Austria to kick off the Generation Rx tour overseas. This is me before the set, filled with nerves. I feel it before every show I play and you can definitely see that in this photo. More so, THE nerves before the first show of a tour. Nerves that are a mix of excitement, anxiousness, & nervousness. And I love every bit of it. I’ve said time & time again that if there’s ever a day that I’m NOT feeling those feelings before I play, I’ll just stop what I’m doing altogether. The payoff to all those nerves is finally getting onstage and releasing all of that energy that’s been built up. Something that could never be described in words.

In other news: Got up this morning, finished a book, watched us crossing into Switzerland — it was beautiful. Took a moment to soak it all in. Grateful ?? Day 2 in Zürich tonight! ?: @ryanvwatanabe
