When the world outside is chilly and gray, a gathering of these stems really brightens the room. ? In our Jan/Feb issue, we took bare branches and transformed them into a fabulous, blossoming arrangement using hydrangea petals. You can use other flowers as well: White hydrangeas mimic almond or orange blossoms; yellow ones pass for forsythia. ? And another plus? These floral branches will look fresh well past winter. ?
