“A sub-adult male tiger carefully quenches his thirst at a nearby waterhole. He’s cautious of his surroundings because this waterhole falls resident to other dominating male tigers. It’s quite common for a 2-to-3-year-old male tiger to be forced out of the jungle or pushed to the edge of the forest by a dominating male resident tiger. If he manages to survive to be seven years of age, he will return to reclaim the prime area of the jungle by engaging in a territorial fight.
