This week’s #RoleModelMonday is Katelyn Ohashi (@katelyn_ohashi), a six-time All-American artistic gymnast. You might recognize her from her globally trending performance that landed her a perfect 10 score at the 2019 Collegiate Challenge (the fourth perfect 10 floor routine of her career!) Unfortunately, instead of universal praise, Katelyn has also received some negative feedback regarding her body image in a field where young women are mostly petite. After seeing how Katelyn responds to such comments; explaining how she understands her self-worth in a new way now, I admire her even more. As an eating disorder survivor, Katelyn stands now for loving her body, and sharing positivity and kindness to all. The world needs more people like you, Katelyn!
