Meet the kweenz of 2019. ✨ We’ve talked about glosses for a lonnng time— since way back at The Beauty Department even. I’ve always told you the best way to keep your hair shiny and your color looking fresh is to do a gloss between color services. Until now there hasn’t been an at-home version I was fully in love with so I finally decided to create my own. I’m starting with these 8 formulas: 1 clear + 7 toners that deposit subtle tone. I custom designed all 7 tones in the lab with my own hands based on the colors I get asked about the most on my clients. These are designed to be applied in-shower on thoroughly wet hair before you shampoo & condition. Super simple. I’m going to be posting a lot about these this week (lengthy IGTV video included ?), and I know y’all are going to have a lot of questions. Please note that there are descriptors ON each box to help you choose your shade! You can read each box on target.com or kristinesshair.com. I’m guessing that many will ask about specific shades so on each box I made sure to say “choose this if you have brown hair and you want to add gold/warm tones” or “choose this if you have bronde (between blonde and brown) hair and you want to neutralize warm tones.” etc... If you’re unsure which one you should get, you can always ask your colorist or try Crystal Quartz (clear) first! Know that these do NOT cover grey and they are NOT permanent. They last on average 4-6 weeks depending on how often you wash your hair. 4-6 weeks was based on someone who washes their hair 2.5 times per week (meaning every 2-3 days).
