‘Shift Souls’ was the title of @Iris Van Herpe’s Haute Couture collection. Van Herpen sighted her influences as being ‘Harmonica Macrocosmica’, a star atlas by cartographer Andreas Cellarius and former nasa engineer turned artist Kim Keever. The collection also saw a collaboration with the Delft University of Technology, employing them to create one-off face jewellery made for the wearer using a 3D face scanner. Sculptural dresses hung from the body, exploring the relationship between the human shape and technology.
