Virgil Abloh looked to the late Michael jackson for @ルイ・ヴィトン‘s AW19 show, setting the scene on a New York Street seen in the ‘Billie Jean’ video, with a live graffiti instillation and music by Dev Hynes. Models weaved through the street wearing flag print fur collars and scarves, tour merch style t-shirts, embellished globe jumpers and monogram embossed leather puffer jackets. The show notes read ‘The Vocabulary according to Virgil Abloh’ from A-Z there were anecdotal notes on subjects from his hometown, Rockford to the techniques used in the collection.
