1984 my bro and I messing around in my mother’s art studio (our living room!) We didn’t have much but we had enough. We had dreams, we had friends. We were insane but, we made it fun!
I was 18 years old! Ducktail hair cut, dyed blond in the front! Trying to make it as a street dancer, auditioning for music videos, & talent shows (Star Search anyone? Which I didn’t get, STILL BITTER about that?)
Going to college to study business & working as a receptionist in Beverly Hills.
I rode my rickety ass motorcycle with a tricky clutch (so tiny basically a moped, remember those?)
from Silver lake to BH daily for work! Had to wash up in the lobby bathroom sink to look remotely presentable!
