So like, after almost two years away from competing I returned to it this past weekend. One off maybe, maybe not who knows. Anyway I guess it’s ingrained in my system since I’ve been doing it for so long because this weekend helped me quantify how much I actually missed it. The nerves and excitement brings a crazy rush for me and it’s been awhile since I’ve felt it - felt so alive.

Sure mentally I was rusty as hell and all over the place but signing up a few months back already felt like taking a huge plunge into some unknown, weirdly enough.

One of my biggest fears competing again after the hiatus was whether I’d still be relevant or waaaaay behind especially physically you know since it’s been on and off the last two years.

I’m actually still really lost though, maybe even more so this new year - new job, new responsibilities, new schedule. Everything is still super uncertain now. I guess the one thing I had a few years ago was a home gym that backed me but I guess these days I don’t really feel like I belong anywhere sometimes.
