Deep thoughts alert ? Sometimes the progress photos are more exciting than the end result. When we moved into #thisoldtudor, we felt the warmth of a old home but also saw the possibility of making some modern updates. We knew the master bathroom would be first on the list and the goal here was to expand the footprint of the room but I also wanted to keep traditional elements of the original bathroom (notice the floor tile in both bathrooms? Love that basketweave.) this renovation has taken about a 5 weeks longer than projected (don’t they always) but I have a feeling once I slip into the not yet installed/pictured bathtub, all will be forgotten. Is a home renovation kind of like having a baby? You forget how painful the process is? ? Anyway, I cant wait to show you this space once it’s all finished!
