We couldn't resist asking both @marc.aspland and @eddiekeoghphotos, two of our sports Canon Ambassadors, to sum up their time on their shoot down in Dorset with @notonphoto. @marc.aspland: “As a sports photographer my working landscape is constantly moving, the story always evolving. My life is spent at 1/2000th of a second and in a split second I am expected to tell the story of a 90 minute football match or a whole day of Test match cricket. My world was turned upside down by David Noton as he allowed me to parachute into his world by using a tripod, Lee filters and his 30 second exposures. The landscape itself does not move for David yet the light is ever-changing; but it is the mood, atmosphere and drama of the light which makes his landscape photography so unique and beautiful". - @eddiekeoghphotos: "For landscape photographers, it’s all about the light and a game of patience and that’s something I’ll take away from this experience. Editorially, sports photographers are always in such a rush to move pictures that we rarely have the time to wait for the light to change. I’ll make a conscious effort to rethink that as a good picture can become a great picture if the lighting is right. We should never forget how lucky we are as photographers as we get a front row seat to see and experience everything that is wonderful about being a human on this incredible planet” #CanonAmbassador Image 1 © Canon Ambassador Marc Aspland Image 2 © Canon Ambassador Eddie Keogh
