Today, my grandmother would have turned 95. She was the most amazing woman I have ever known and I miss her each and every day. ? ⠀

As a child, I adored her and spent every single moment I could with her. But as an adult, I appreciated what a spunky spitfire she was. I would have actual conversations with her and say 1. NOT to tweet me (she was 87 at the time) and just call me instead and 2. She didn’t need to defend my Dance Moms behavior on Facebook. I was just fine. ?⠀

She could make a home beautiful with nothing more than an idea and some elbow grease. She NEVER left the house without lipstick and “rouge”. And she loved wearing pearls. ?? ⠀

She was the very definition of a great mom and I hope I’m half as good. I see so much of her in my girls and I couldn’t be more proud. We miss you, Lizzy. ?
